80GB iPod, or 16GB iTouch?

ipod itouch 16gb
davani asked:

I want a new ipod, but im not sure of what i should get, i really like the iTouch because it has many options like wifi and such, but im not sure if 16gb is enuf and i dont want to spend $500-600 on an 32Gb itouch, i also like the 80Gb classic ipod because it has alot of space for music and video, but other than that it doesnt really have much. So what would be best to get? i also heard that apple is coming out with a new itouch that has more space and im not sure if that is true or not, and if i should wait a little bit longer because that means the 16GB will get cheaper.

but im not sure, so i need a little help in deciding!!!

please and thankz :D

The iPod Touch won’t upgrade to 64 GB yet…The 32 GB chips are still too expensive (iPod Touch has two memory slots so it uses two 16 GB for the 32 GB…having two 32 GB is so expensive the iPod would be $800).

There is a rumor that the 8 GB is going away and the 16 GB is going to $299 and the 32 is going to $399.

But I’d get the 16 GB…I have a 16 GB iPhone and I don’t run out of space at all. I connect it to iTunes every day so I can change songs if I needed to.

well 16 gb is really more than i would need, but i only have like 400 songs. If you are going to be doing alot of music like people with thousands then get the classic. If you just want it for cool video and stuff get i touch

Honestly, if u are one of those people who use a lot of memory, go with the classic ipod. i have a 8gb iphone and it is perfect. so 16gb itouch, u would have to have a lot of movies, or a heck of a lot of songs..
ME: go with the itouch, but it is still ur choice

It really depends on what you want in an ipod.

Ipod touch:
3.5-inch Multi-Touch Color Display

8GB Up to 1,750 songs, up to 10,000 photos, up to 10 hours of video, or some of each- 299$

16GB Up to 3,500 songs, up to 20,000 photos, up to 20 hours of video, or some of each - 399$

32GB Up to 7,000 songs, up to 25,000 photos, up to 40 hours of video, or some of each - 499$

Classic:

2.5-inch Color Display.

80GB Up to 20,000 songs, up to 25,000 photos, up to 100 hours of video, or some of each - 249$

160GB Up to 40,000 songs, up to 25,000 photos, up to 200 hours of video, or some of each - 349$

The Classic Ipod has a longer battery life, it has 40 hours of audio and 7 hours of video after a complete charging, the Ipod Touch has 22 hours of audio and 5 hours of video.

Personally, I’m saving up for the Ipod touch 16 GB. My sister has it and I love the Wi-Fi on it, like being able to watch videos on youtube and stuff. The Classic is obviously a much better deal, so if you don’t really care about the touch screen, etc, then I’d go for the Classic. Your choice. Good luck =)

P.S. It’s cool if you get it off the apple website (apple.com) because you can get any ipod engraved for free, but you may be able to find better deals (sales, etc.) at local Best Buys, or wherever you want to get it from.

It depends how much music you listen to. If you listen to a lot and don’t care much for the ipod touches little gadgets, then a classic is your best bet. If you listen to a fair amount of music and also enjoy the extra stuff the ipod touch can do, you will be very satisfied with a touch. I am sure you will love either one, but it all depends on how much music you listen to.
