when you buy it, it is fully charged all you have to do is turn it on!
at least one hour but i usually leave it for the next day then use it
I would take an educated guess at around 1 hour and 30 min. to 100% charge it, the iPod touch is a great iPod, one of the best yet…. I think it is a great decision to get your son one I’m sure he will be very excited to receive it!
