It’s only 4gb’s and is 79 dollars. This means theoretically, that it would cost almost $3,200.00 for an iPod classic since it’s 30 times larger than a shuffle.
Aren’t people throwing their money away with gadgets like the iPod Shuffle when they can buy a much larger iPod that shows video too for only $250.00 or less?

People will buy it because it’s new and it’s APPLE. They wont think about that. Or the fact that you can only control it with the headphone remote. And we know how long those “great ” Apple headphones last.
I want to say because they’re desperate and most likely want something small and cheap. Personally i think its crap Apple just wants to make more money but i guess its better than nothing and i have the new pink 4th generation nano that i love.
Because it has a picture of a fruit on it. People think Apple means quality due to the heavy advertising, but this new shuffle is just… ugh. To quote the AVGN : “What where they thinking?”
Still, soccer moms and scene kids will buy it because it’s Apple and has a gimmicky feature. And it’s “Great for the gym!”
And 4gbs and no way to navigate tracks? Great idea.
I prefer the second generatoin better. But I do like how the new shuffle is so small and light. If it wsa cheaper, I probably will buy it. And this is coming from a person who is not a fan of apple products.
b/c its new and cool..:)
It depends on what you want, true you can’t see your music and you have to use the Apple headphones which is kinda of a disadvantage since you have to control it and hear the voice over feature and you can’t do that with your other headphones. But it’s all up to you if you can afford it and you want it then buy it.
